Locomotive receivers implement Back EMF motor control for realistic slow
speed operation and precise control. Radio control is through advanced
434 MHz digital packet radios.
Drive your largest locomotives with up to 14 continuous amps of power,
30 amps peak or choose the smaller 3 amp (6 amp peak) version with the
same amazing Back EMF slow speed performance. Protect your locomotive
investment with short circuit, over temperature, and over voltage
protection.
Define and control six locomotive accessories. Set and display 8
character alphanumeric locomotive names and road numbers. Easily set up
MU lashups and adjust speed curves between dissimilar locomotives. Set
special lighting and accessory behavior for MU lead and helper
locomotives.
Unique control system provides reliable and gentle shutdown of
locomotives in an emergency using the all-stop broadcast command.
Additionally a user definable fail-safe timeout will safely shutdown all
locomotives in the event the transmitter is powered off or the unlikely
event receivers lose contact with the transmitter (~100 yard range).
This feature is even better than track powered locomotives having their
power abruptly shut off to stop a run-away locomotive.
Ten digital channels are available. This allows up to ten transmitters
to be used together. Each transmitter controls its own 32 locomotives
while sharing the same track-side accessories with the other
transmitters.
