CabCommand Get started

Your inbox is where loads are born. Connect it.

Every rate con you'll ever run arrives as an email attachment. Connect Gmail with one OAuth click and CabCommand scans for rate confirmations, so booking a load stops depending on you remembering to forward a PDF from a truck stop.

How the Gmail connection works

Authorization is standard Google OAuth — you grant read access, no password stored, revocable from your Google account at any time. CabCommand scans for freight paperwork, classifies what it finds, and surfaces detected rate confirmations so they become tracked loads with the same extraction quality as a manual upload: broker, pay, stops, dates, billing email.

The sync status is always visible on the Connectors page — when it last ran and what it found — and there's a Sync Now button when you want a scan on demand.

Why inbox-to-load matters

The failure mode isn't dramatic: a rate con arrives while you're driving, gets buried under twelve other emails, and the load runs without ever entering your system. The invoice goes out late because nothing reminded you, and your weekly numbers under-count the truck. Pulling loads from the inbox closes the gap between the business you run and the business your software knows about.

Combined with rate con extraction and one-tap invoice packets, the pipeline from broker email to broker payment stops having manual steps where money leaks.

Duplicates and noise, handled

An inbox scan that created a load for every forwarded copy of the same rate con would be worse than no scan at all. CabCommand matches broker and load number before creating anything, so a rate con that arrives three times — original, re-send, and your factor's copy — still produces exactly one load. Non-freight email is ignored entirely; the scanner is looking for paperwork, not reading your correspondence.

Everything the scan finds stays reviewable: detected documents surface for your confirmation rather than silently mutating your books, so the inbox feeds your system without ever being trusted blindly.

Frequently asked questions

Does CabCommand store my Gmail password?

No — the connection is Google OAuth. You grant read access and can revoke it from your Google account at any time.

What does it look for in my inbox?

Freight paperwork — rate confirmations first and foremost. Detected rate cons are surfaced to become tracked loads.

Can I trigger a scan manually?

Yes — the Connectors page shows the sync status and has a Sync Now button.

What about Outlook or other email?

Gmail is the supported inbox today. You can always upload or forward rate cons manually regardless of provider.

Will it create duplicate loads from re-sent rate cons?

No — detected documents are matched on broker and load number before anything is created, so three copies of the same rate con still make exactly one load.

Can I disconnect it later?

Yes — one click on the Connectors page removes the connection, and you can also revoke access from your Google account's security settings at any time.
